Spotted by View From The Solent in The Telegraph:
A British man working as a professional hunter on a private game reserve in Zimbabwe has been killed by a wounded buffalo he was trying to shoot.
Owain Lewis, 67, had been tracking the animal for three days to finish it off after it was shot and injured by a visiting American hunter he was escorting. Paul Smith, the owner of Chifuti Safaris in the lower Zambezi Valley, said Mr Lewis was "very tough and experienced" but had been caught unawares when the buffalo charged from the undergrowth and tossed him in the air.
"It turned on him and attacked him and unfortunately the apprentice hunter with him could not shoot the animal as Owain's body was in the way," he said. "It was a very tough fight. Owain's neck was broken but the apprentice did manage to kill the buffalo. We are very shocked. This is the first time we have had an incident like this. We have had so many messages of support from people who hunted with Owen. It is a tragedy."

Killer rabbits!
From The Metro:
Energy Kamuruko was out tracking with dogs when he noticed a rabbit dart into a tunnel near the village of Mandipaka. The 20-year-old peered inside but his head got stuck. His body was found the following day by a neighbour. A postmortem confirmed he died on Sunday of asphyxiation.
Without wishing to be 'boaring', the article continues:
It is the second hunting-related accidental death in the African country in recent months. In August, Tamsen Lucius, 36, impaled himself on his own spear while chasing wild boar.
Officials said he had climbed a tree to try and get a better angle with his weapon after tracking a herd of the animals in the bush. But he died instantly after losing his footing and impaling himself through the chest.

"Time to go"
Robert Mugabe has joined the international community and called for US President George W Bush to step down within six weeks and appoint a Son Of Africa as his successor. Or else.

Ian Smith RIP
I can't honestly say, from the comfort of my Safe European Home, that I agree with what he is thought to have stood for, but he certainly had principles.
And with the benefit of hindsight, might things not have turned out better had he not been forced out of office?
