"George Michael falls out of hospital door"

From The Evening Standard:

George Michael was readmitted to hospital after managing to fall out of a hospital door and is now being treated for injuries following the bizarre incident.

The star was carried back into the hospital with a head injury after being thrown several metres across the hospital loading-unloading bay by a revolving door which he had pushed so hard it managed to hit him in the back. His publicist Connie Filipello initially said his injuries were "superficial cuts and bruises. Again".

A statement on his website said: "We can confirm that George Michael has been readmitted to hospital and has recommenced rest and recuperation. He is well and thanks everyone for all the messages of support."

An eyewitness who was behind the 49-year-old singer told The Sun she saw him lying in the loading bay smeared with blood.

Katherine Fox, 23, said he was wearing a ripped dressing gown and pyjamas and his slippers had come off when she saw him. She stopped her mini to provide protection by preventing ambulances from hitting him. Fox said the former Wham! star had tried to push the door too hard and after being spun round was thrown out at 70 miles and hour.

"George Michael refuses to suck Leveson's cock"

From The Metro:

The singer told his 415,000-plus followers on Twitter that the Inquiry approached him in an Los Angeles public toilet and invited him to commit a lewd act, which he declined, saying he regarded the Inquiry as 'bulls**t' and criticised apparent delays to phone hacking prosecutions.

After a series of tweets railing against the British establishment the 48-year-old said he would be willing to get jiggy with the inquiry if new prosecutions were launched, although the former Wham! frontman was still undecided whether to turn up and fall asleep in the witness stand or ask that the hearing be reconvened to his yacht so that he could smoke a joint.

Failing that, the "Wake me up before you go-go" singer said he would probably simply ram the Inquiry with his Range Rover.

"I want your sex"

I note that this 'blog is currently number 2 out of 12,800,000 in the Google rankings for George Michael freedom prisoners sing.

Which reminds me that there were a lot of good suggestions in the comments to that post as to what his fellow inmates might sing to him, but we appear to have overlooked this fine tune, with extra irony for the fact that the video suggests he was straight:

PS, that's not the original video, for which embedding is "disabled by request" (but you get the general idea). Actually, that would have been an excellent office joke until they made them illegal last week: just ask someone in a wheelchair whether they watch YouTube...

"George Michael 'sobs' as prisoners sing Freedom at him"

The Metro confirms what we were all expecting would happen.

He didn't see this one coming? I wonder whether he has a quip ready for the night before his release when his cell mate says "Wake me up before you go-go", and indeed whether Kenny Goss is thinking up a quip for when he greets George Michael at the prison gates in eight weeks' time and George Michael says "I knew you'd be waiting (for me)".
