Fun Online Polls: Free wi-fi & wearing a poppy (or not)

The results to last week's Fun Online Poll were as follows:

Has anyone, anywhere, ever connected to free wifi successfully?

Yes, it usually works - 72%
Possibly somebody has else managed it, but it never seems to work for me - 28%

Good to know.

In that case I must be doing something very wrong, because it only works for me in hotels, never in shops or restaurants etc.

Which is a fair point. But Rememberance Sunday is the second Sunday in November (between 8th and 14th) so that narrows it down a bit.

Thank you everybody (all 31 of you) who took part.

I am pretty sure that when I was a kid, people only wore poppies for the last couple of days before 11 November. Nowadays some people (especially broadcasters, politicians and people who are on trial for phone hacking) start wearing them up to two weeks beforehand.

It hasn't been as bad this year as in other years, but a bit annoying nonetheless.

So that's this week's Fun Online Poll: "When is it appropriate to start wearing a poppy?"
