This otherwise uninspiring-looking tree/shrub type thingy, in the garden of the house we've been renting since early June 2008, did absolutely nothing at all until recently, when it suddenly sprouted large orange lumps, which look and taste remarkably like slightly unripe peaches. Or possibly apricots. Add that to the foxes digging deep holes to shelter from the heat, and there can be only be one conclusion...

Can I have some peaches then? Thats obviously a south facing wall, and the foxes have been digging holes in my garden as well It looks awful God knows what they are looking for, My whole garden has been trashed by the fuckers

James you utter tw@t.....I actually went looked for that face...looking continues.....I will find it and twist my perception until face appears.
Not proof of global warming because your garden hasn't flooded/turned into an uninhabitable desert as promised. More arguably "proof" that plants everywhere are growing better because of the increased CO2 in the air. Something which all those "Greens" are in favour of - not.
Actually since these effects, both putative & real are fasirly small just proof of a catastrophic warming that used to be called "summer".
Looks like someone has trained it in the classic fan shape.I knew someone who used to water his
peach tree in hot weather.
Not a sign of global warming surely,if its been there for yonks?
