Spotted by Derek in The Wakefield Examiner:
A FARMER who was left cow-less when he was forced to destroy eight of his cattle is urging people to stick to public footpaths.
Mark Wadsworth said his herd of cows went “loopy” after they were spooked by joggers last Tuesday. The owner of Birkdale Farm, which is off Wood Lane in Overton, made the difficult decision to shoot the livestock in the interests of safety last week.

How to avoid a stitch when running or jogging
It's quite simple, I worked this out by trial and error.
Before you start running, you take a very deep breath. Then you set off and hold in that air for as long as you possibly can, ten seconds is good, twenty is better etc until you can't hold it any longer; then you breathe out as slowly as you can possibly bear. Then be careful to breathe as shallowly as possible for another half a minute or a minute and after that you'll be fine.
