From The New York Post:
They are 1 percenters who are 100 percent despicable.
Some wealthy Manhattan moms have figured out a way to cut the long lines at Disney World — by hiring disabled people to pose as family members so they and their kids can jump to the front, The Post has learned...
Clearly this is rent-collecting by the disabled people concerned - their services only have value because lots of people want to go on the rides provided by a third party (Disney), hence the queues are long and hence the time cost of waiting patiently is high - but so what? It's not like disabled people get that many breaks in life, so why shouldn't they cash in?
Remember - the total waiting time of all people in the queue is unaffected by all of this, it is just distributed differently. What would be truly despicable would be to buy a "blue badge" (or whichever bit of paper you need to prove you are disabled) and make one of your group sit in a wheelchair or carry a white stick. If you are willing to schlepp a legit disabled person round with you - who quite possibly enjoys getting out of the house, being treated like an equal and going on the rides - then that really seems quite innocuous (whether or not money changes hands in either direction).

This reminds me of the man who was banned from driving and decided to hire a driver, but hired someone disabled so that they would be able to park his car in parking reserved for the disabled.

Jeez what a dumb thing to say.
B, same thing applies.
SB: "Jeez what a dumb thing to say."
Your comments as of late have become increasingly tiresomely stupid, but I've been too polite to mention it until know.
As ever, I make a bold statement of fact and you are unable to refute or disprove it and so resort to insults.
I'm amazed more people haven't figured this out.
In Martin Amis' Money, John Self has a disabled driver for precisely this reason: they can park closer than everyone else.
And that was written 30 years ago.
You wait, Disney will cash in. They'll have a 'hire your 'cripple' here'. Or 'Save time and pre-book your cripple'. Overall this is wonderful gaming of the system. Love it.
