Nobody actually tries to get in touch with Mary Portas.

You just continue doing whatever it is you are doing for long enough, and sooner or later she will breeze into your town and make a TV series about turning your life around.

How much does anyone want to bet that nothing of the sort happens, that they will be given a second chance, then a third then a big payoff when the whole scheme is cancelled? As soon as I saw the headline, I thought "Ah, the efficiencies of the private sector".
