Had a very nice time at the UKIP conference actually, as I didn't have to do a talk this time hence not stressed out.
It was nice to bump into Witterings from Witney, The Boiling Frog, one of the Freedom 2 Choose chaps (I won't mention him by name because it's not on their website so he might prefer to remain anonymous, I dunno) and Frank Davis.

WB. I'm jealous you've met FD. I used to chat with him and a guy called 'PaulD' about smoking and global warming in the boris-johnson.com forums loads, he seems a really interesting bloke.
I met 'PaulD' on the day we all went to see Boris, soon after becoming Mayor, with his old research assistant to ask him to leave the site open. 'Wibbler' (who designed the site) and the infamous Tim Ireland (who had something to do with it) were also there.
Boris seemed really happy to see Paul, but kind of snubbed me with a dodgy handshake, so I decided there and then he was a bit of a knob. After we all went for a beer and I finally got to smoke a fag with PaulD, we both wished Frank (who posted as 'idlex') was there to smoke that fag with us.
Then Tim Ireland suddenly chirped up "Guys, have you ever thought of trying the NHS stop smoking service" in the middle of our fag. He is a strange kind of chap.
We all spent an hour chatting to one of Boris's spindoctors (who I won't name) after meeting the big man (actually he's really short).
He/she told us that during the election campaign, after Boris went on the radio and said local government should have jurisdiction over smoking in pubs, a prominent member of the anti-smoking lobby threatened to come out in support of Ken if he ever said anything like that again.
Was an interesting afternoon, but FD was sorely missed.
I went to Torquay once, to a friend's wedding. Contracted Legionnaire's disease. Back then I was a sturdy fellow, hence my continued existence. Here's hoping whatever you caught will be flushed out with nothing more than a bit of penicillin.
SL, but you've met BoJo so that evens it up.
TFB, I'm happy to report I caught nothing except a bad back from lumpy mattress.
How did you find Witterings, perchance?
JH, WFW was on top form, having successfully ground down the housing association on behalf of himself and his fellow residents.
Thanks Mark, it was a pleasure to meet you and have a chat.
