All those arguments about how much better communism were... education, productivity and so on were shattered. Capitalism won. So, the solution was to say that productivity was no longer a good thing, but a bad thing.

I wonder how many people in "Compass Oxford" work in jobs that depend on the fact that we can afford big government. There weren't many diversity co-ordinators in the middle ages.; 27 November 2009 at 16:51
