There was a longer article in The Grauniad yesterday, giving Barnado's the opportunity to ask for more taxpayers' cash, ending with the surprising admission "We don't know the true extent of this problem ... But we know, however hidden from the public eye it might be, that it affects many thousands of children."*
Oh come off it, chaps. Either you know or you don't. Or are you taking a leaf out of Donald Rumsfeld's book?
* I was sorely tempted to edit that down to "We don't know the true extent of this problem ... it might be, that it affects many thousands of children." But that would have been cheating.

I visited Barbados last year with my spouse, and I loved it! We stayed in an area called St. Lawrence Gap on the southern coastline and spent much of our days just lounging in the shade on the beach or walking through the streets.
