Macheath said...: One has to feel some sympathy for Sarko - in an earlier age, his height would have been a minor issue, but today, image is all (he's trying, mind you; this stunt may have backfired but marrying Carla Bruni was something of a master-stroke).

If Obama's reception is anything to go by, voters will expect the world leaders of the future to be selected from the tiny minority possessed of extraordinary good looks and stature as well as brains.
