We're all Europeans now!

Via my UKIP chums comes another fine example of the EU slowly but steadily chipping away at our national identities.

Well if thats the case I want to be Swedish right now and have a job there immediately and be able to claim benefits there too.

That's the gimmick!

A sensible Citizen's Income scheme would require claimants to have been legally resident in the UK for at least five or ten years to prevent the UK becoming a target for scroungers from around the globe.

So it would discriminate against recent arrivals from the EU. So it would be against EU-law. So, as good as the idea is, we'd have to leave first.

Two birds, one stone.

Membership costs us £50-bn plus in direct costs (which are small) and indirect costs (which are HUGE), see recent Bruges Group pamphlet, I have checked and cross-referenced the figures and if anything they are understating it.
