Let's try again, shall we?

As Albert Einstein famously said, insanity is doing something the same way repeatedly expecting different results.

Now, I accept that economics and so on is not an exact science, but we have sixty years of evidence to support the conclusion that sending money to The Third World* and meddling in their affairs does not work.

So, how vain is the Goblin King to suggest that we can run their health systems for them, at our own expense?

*Most of which ends up in Swiss bank accounts, or in the bank accounts of 'preferred suppliers' domiciled in the donor country, of course. It's like watering a desert, it will evaporate and rain back into the ocean.

Why are both "Wannabe Blair" Cameron and Brown so fascinated about Africa that they want to send tons of money down to Africa. They know very well that the dictators all become millionaires.

Either they are genuinely deluded, or, just as likely, they think that there's votes in it.

Which is madness, "Hey vote for me and I will add 1p onto YOUR income tax that YOU the voter have to pay and send it, via Afrioa, to a numbered bank account in Switzerland".

If people care, then they can donate to Oxfam AFAIAC.

I suppose, to them it only "other people's money", so why not be generous? I would probably also be irresponsible, if I had billions and billions to spend. :)
