From The Metro:
John Lydon has slammed Danny Boyle’s upcoming Sex Pistols biopic as ‘the most disrespectful s***’ he’s ever seen.
The acclaimed filmmaker is overseeing a new FX drama, simply named Pistol, which tells the story of the notorious punk band – but John isn’t impressed. Pistol will take viewers from the band’s early days in West London, to their rise to fame and connection with Vivienne Westwood and Malcolm McLaren’s infamous Kings Road SEX shop.
Speaking to The Sunday Times, John – who was known as Johnny Rotten during his time in the Sex Pistols – suggested that he could take legal action against the new series.
T'was ever thus.
Every few years, some manager would get his protegé(s) into the headlines by persuading them to behave 'outrageously' or 'disrespectfully'. Elvis, the Stones, the Sex Pistols. They all end up as part of the establishment, appearing in adverts for butter and TV reality shows.
And doing interviews with the Sunday Times (FFS) in which they threaten people with legal action over perceived slights.

And, of course this individual has never upset anyone has he ? one look at those vicious piggy little eyes will tell you all you need to know about his kind and generous nature.
MC, it's his job to be obnoxious, who cares, that's his sales gimmick. Pistols were great, PIL started off great and got progressively worse.
Middle class luvies portraying an extremely working class band, whats not to dislike?
Th, the Pistols were actually 'working class'. A rarity, but it happens.
A very young me was around at the time and met them on and off plus Jonesy may work on a tune or two with my girls....very working class for what thats worth nowadays.
