From Nautilus:
What Dark Matter Needs Are New Kinds of Experiments
After 30 years and no results, it’s time to support more entrepreneurial physicists.
The "hunt for dark matter" might seem to be a harmless prank when compared to "climate science", but it's still a scam, and those taking part must know it.

Have you seen the work on quantised inertia?
MIM, is that another scam to get research subsidies or just a bit of mad scientist fun?
Dark matter and dark energy are undetectable. They were invented to plug an anomaly re the missing mass. No, it is the physics that needs revisiting because the gravity models are obviously wrong.
DrE, The universe is expanding, we've known that for a century. They can't really explain why, so they refer to a force called "dark energy", I'm fine with that.
It's "dark matter" that riles me. As you say, they only invented up to explain anomalies which would be resolved if they knew more about gravity.
The idea of Dark Matter on its own does not explain the rotation of disc galaxies, it also requires that it has a very specific distribution, present at the periphery of the galaxy and not in the centre.
Din, Dark Matter is hokum.
