Our local refuse collectors advertised job vacancies and were castigated by the local mumsnet type group for saying that applications from women would be welcomed. Apparently, it's insulting to women to assume that manual labour is all they are good for (once they are out of the kitchen and bedroom)!
PS, seriously? That's nicely squared the satirical circle, that is what is technically known as crossing the "parody event horizon" and reaching the "parody singularity".
