From the Daily Mail:
The 46-year-old had worked at a red light district window in Amsterdam for eight years. However, for the past six of them, she has also been offering her banking services at more than £50 an hour.
Identified only by her ‘professional’ name, she asked clients for requests, saying ‘the sleazier the better’.
She describes her greatest passion as ‘ripping off strangers with PPI, pension charges and subprime mortgages’. Quote, a Dutch magazine, reported that she had a sexual role in a knocking shop while specialising in sadism in her spare time.
After the magazine broke the story, the brothel confirmed it had fired her over ‘integrity issues’.
Banking in Holland is legal although workers at the De Wallen are not allowed to engage in any activities which could bring the industry into disrepute, such as ‘indecent behaviour’.

Integrity issues at a brothel. Interesting.
Too many clue bats, but really, the greedy cow.
Hang on MW. She's just worked how to get well paid for what appears to be her hobby. However, if I had been her employer I would have probably had to let he go once the details of her pastime / second job became public. I personally couldn't give a stuff what people do out of work, but my other employees and clients might. I mean it's OK to come in after the weekend and chat about the great round of golf you achieved, but...?
Thought 2. Mind you her other job - central banking - is genuinely a waste of time and money and funded by coercion (!). And although her hobby is could be 'coercive' in one sense all the customers are voluntary...
Overall a great story.
Lola,
Ryanair had one of their air hostesses exposed as working in the adult industry and shrugged their shoulders and it made no difference.
The thing with financial services is that it projects a shiny image of professionalism with fancy head offices and suits that are designed to sell you entry to a better club than you're currently part of. In reality, the financial services industry is more dishonest than the sex industry. You might occassionally pick up a ladyboy working as an escort, but you're much more likely to find your endowment had a shortfall or your pension stuffed by charges, or your building society sold you a PPI policy even though they knew that the DSS counted that as income, and would reduce benefits by the same amount and only sold it to you because of the very healthy commission rate.
To call financial services an induustry and what they offer - "products" is a laugh.
TS Ha Ha. You clearly haven't walked into the offices of my financial services business. Nor seen the clothes I wear to work...
Otherwise - sadly true.
(Our wallpaper reminds me of the scarred hull of a hard used 1940's Corvette convoy escort..)
TS. FYI FS was TOLD to sell PPI by the FSA. Because blair had announced that interest payment benefits were being withdrawn. Of course the banks went ape shit on the stuff. Look, I will tell you the whole sorry story if we ever meet. I am not going to type it all out here.
Extremely old jokes about telling your mother that you play the piano in a brothel refer.
