"Perils of the English countryside"

You can guess what's top of the list at the BBC.

From 2008 to 2011, there were 269 recorded attacks, of which nine were fatal.

It's the 150th Turriff show this weekend. More cows than you can shake a stick at. Every kind of cow imaginable!

Could try and make a video of them for your blog if you want?

Ah, the Turra show! That brings back memories!

SL, yes please do, bonus points if you capture an attack.

D, memories of what? Cows?

Memories of my youth. And cows. As well as bulls, sheep, horses and other assorted farm animals. As a lad I used to sell show programmes at the Ellon show (about thirty miles from Turriff) in the early 1970s and as a result enjoyed wandering round the grounds for most of the day. Happy days.
