M'learned colleague 'Pete Green' and I (and others) decided that the editorial line at HPC was becoming rather more dictatorial so we've set up a Facebook group so that we can keep in touch.

Hah, HPC became dictatorial many moons ago. Even moderately bullish posters were silently banned. Now, they just wallow in self-agreement and paranoia.
They banned me after I started an thread on Islamic immigration in the off-topic forum.
Good riddance.
