"[insert name] is only party leader to challenge/criticise Google on tax"

From The Daily Mail:

Clegg outflanks Cameron and Miliband to become ONLY party leader to challenge Google's Eric Schmidt about tax avoidance

From the BBC:

Ed Miliband has criticised Google's tax arrangements at an event organised by the internet search giant. The Labour leader said the firm had gone to "extraordinary lengths" to limit levels of tax it paid in the UK.

So, Clegg and the Lib Dems are back in their "wonderland" mode already, where they can promise anything because 2 years from now it's no going to make any difference?

The LDs are going to need at least a decade for that to work again for them.

Didn't notice the Irish complaining about Google routing its profits there. Funny that.

TS, that was the gimmick. Ecah paper chooses whom to write about to serve its own ends.

AC, correct. It is a zero-sum game. As the UK's corp tax rate is lower than in many countries, there must be a fair bit of profit routed through the UK which is not actually UK-sourced profits.
