From The Daily Mail:
• Labour leader is named as the most influential Wallace (out of Wallace & Gromit) look-a-like
• Mark Zuckerberg and Steven Spielberg are not on the list
• But Mr Miliband is facing questions over his leadership after poor local election results and support standing at just 34% in the polls
• Wigan Evening Post described him as a 'likely candidate for Prime Minister'
Mr Miliband was ranked 1st in the table of the world's leading Wallace (out of Wallace & Gromit) look-a-likes, even though he has spoken infrequently about the similarities and declared 'I do not believe that Plasticine figures can actually move' after he was chosen as Labour leader.
His party's lead in the opinion polls has slumped with support for the Opposition standing at just 34 per cent - just three points ahead of the Tories despite their internal turmoil over the cheese and crackers crisis. Lady Tottingham of Tottingham Hall, who has given more than £12 million to the Labour Party, described Mr Miliband as 'average' and said that she has no intention of donating to the party again.
Journalists from the Wigan Evening Post admitted that they had struggled to think of any other Wallace look-a-likes so the younger Miliband brother ended up as the only person on the list. The paper's editor confirmed that Ed Miliband was also hot favourite to top next week's list of "Most influential people who like the people from the Dolmio adverts" and confirmed that he would most likely come top again in the week after that if they run the list of "Most influential Edgar (out of Men In Black) look-a-likes".
