Short lists

1. Titles of songs by the Velvet Underground which were later used by Led Zeppelin for completely different songs.

2. Heads of state/governments of "allied" European countries who were not in London during the Second World War.

Re number 2 - how about Lord Gowrie (Governor-General of Australia), and Lord Wavell (Viceroy of India)?

You're going on about the Velvet Underground and what have you, when George Jones has just died? Talk about inappropriate.Please restore some dignity to this blog by fixing up a You-tube link with "He stopped loving her today": something altogether more fitting to this significant occasion.
