Is the Panda enclosure designed on similar lines to Pamela's house?
In a gesture of politeness, and to allow zoo staff to work without the world's prying eyes, the "panda cam" which beamed live images of their enclosures over the web was switched off several days ago.

BobE, do they seriously imagine that the Pandas care one way or another?
You can get this (very expensive) glass that goes translucent or opaque when you flick a switch. Perhaps the window is made from it.
