Giraffe Restaurants to convert to "Smug-free"

From The Guardian:

The Giraffe chain of family restaurants have been sold to Tesco, in a move to reduce the level of smug that customers have to deal with.

"We've been looking for a way to clear out the precious, pretentious, Guardian reading wankers from our restaurants for some time," said the owner, Mr Morris McWhirter. "The Tesco takeover was a great fit."

Nice one. What a stupid name - "Giraffe". But then Guardianistas also think it's funny to say "pooh" as often as possible, too.

Hopefully "Giraffe" restaurants will now be invaded by pot-bellied chavs and their little switchblade-bearing Darrens and Tyrones.

Much to the horrow of little Annabel and her rainbow friend from the organic playgroup, who will have to watch them eat deep fried lard in a bun.

Apparently Tesco plan to create "destinations" so presumably there will be a huge Tesco, a Giraffe and one of the coffee shops they own the branding for all next to each other. This will be a good place to hide out for wankers.
