Old BE said...: I'm convinced that I remember a minister announcing FFL saying that "this time it will be different!" and that banks would be forced to lend all the money out.

I laughed at the time.

I believe this can only end one way, and that is by a big fat helicopter drop.

Which is why I am busily "investing" my savings away from cash.
