From the Pirate Party UK Forum:
Calabamat: Has anyone heard of the Young People's Party? They're running a candidate in the Corby by-election.
Plooterman: No never heard of them. Interesting set of policies. They seemed to have picked a strange party name (yes I appreciate this comment is coming from a member of the Pirate Party)...

Well it's better than UKIP, anyway. As a matter of interest, how old is the Corby candidate?
B, what is the answer to life, the universe and everything?
Does that count as young these days? Cue Monty Python: "Old man, what knight lives in that castle?" "I'm 37" "Sorry?" "I'm 37, I'm not old".
Well at least UKIP will save their deposit. The YPP will be lucky to beat Delingpole!
AC, oh don't you worry about that, we'd be very unlucky indeed to get fewer votes than somebody who is not even standing.
Final candidate list.
Mark, on our candidate... his name brings up some rather rum stories from other Libertarian type circles...
TH, they would say that, wouldn't they?
Perhaps- the stories pre-date YPP by some time, so I can't see the immediate driver for wanting to damage a man's reputation- but I guess you will have done your own research... A new party needs to be whiter than white- so any suggestions to the contrary need to be handled properly.
