I visited my aunt a couple of months ago, who was merrily knitting away. She reckoned it was dead easy, so honour bound I let her show me how to do it and then spent two miserable hours producing this:

his first caricatures looked a bit like cow-pats, too
but within approx 1.34 weeks he was turning out 3 decent likenesses a day
I'd predict a large cardigan complete with button-holes and a fancy collar by 1 Dec latest
Yes it does look a bit like a cow pat, but it's less useful. Never again.
Aw, that's so sweet. I had my knitting moment in primary school.
that reminds me of primary school...I wish I did not have to remember those days
