I watched "Tamara Drewe" at the weekend and wondered if any other films recently have had a major character killed by cows.

JH, I steer well clear of cows.

B, thanks for that. The best I can offer is "50 First Dates" in which Drew Barrymore loses her memory after crashing her car into a tree after swerving to avoid a cow.
