"Vic farmer critical after rammed by cow"

Here's one I overlooked, from 9 News:

A Victorian* dairy farmer has life-threatening injuries after being rammed against a fence by a cow.

The 56-year-old man has abdominal and chest injuries, and is in a critical condition**, an Ambulance Victoria spokeswoman said, "It looks like he went into cardiac arrest at the scene."

The farmer was rammed on a property at Inverloch in Gippsland on Tuesday. An ambulance helicopter is taking him to the Royal Melbourne Hospital.

* I assume that means "from Victoria" and not "who lived over a hundred years ago".

** Too right! I'd be highly critical too, if I'd been attacked by a cow.

He might be 110, qualifying him as Victorian and that would explain his failure to move out of the way fast enough. Perhaps the cow is being a tad unfairly judged here.

This is really critical, good work by royal Melbourne hospital and hope he will be fine again.
