Walter Tyrell (well, he shot a famous person by mistake. Allegedy)
Charlie Sheen shot Kelly Preston, his fiancee at the time.
C, that's too long ago, and I meant with a gun.
JT, good one, I have added.
Our beloved Met Police at Stockwell station. Does that count?
Bang: the police concerned weren't famous and they didn't shoot him by mistake, so that one is ruled out. They shot the wrong person, admittedly, but they shot the wrong person deliberately (as they assumed he was the right person).
When I referred to "people who have appeared on presidential tickets and accidentally shot someone", I meant Dick Cheney, but also Adlai Stevenson.
R, rule out Adlai as he wasn't famous at the time he did it.
Well he was the scion of an American dynasty, even if he wasn't noteworthy in his own right at the time.
The Spanish King, Juan Carlos, allegedly shot and killed his brother when they were children.
R: "the scion of an American dynasty"
A 'spoilt brat', in other words?
CI, yeah but at the time he wasn't even a 'future king' seeing as of how Spain was a republic/dictatorship at the time.
Baby, Please Don't Go
EKTWP, that would be the winning entry in the "Muddy Waters/Ted Nugent" competition.
'Twas also recorded by AC/DC and Bob Dylan.
Shot of Love
EKTWP, congrats for finding the most obscure one ever. I bought that High Voltage EP a couple of years ago but I'm not sure I ever listened to it, and I certainly didn't download the Bob D version when it was finally released fifty years after it was actually recorded.
Shot of Love, yup.
Pity you filter on shooting because you miss the odious Norman Mailer.
