Fun Online Polls: Why the Tories are scared of AV and Royal Wedding Fun

On a very high turnout, the results to last week's Fun Online Poll were as follows:

The Tories are opposed to AV because they are scared of...

UKIP - 61%

Liberal Democrats - 17%
BNP - 3%
Other, please specify - 19%

Which confirms pretty much what I thought, so thanks to everybody who took part. The idea that the BNP are any sort of political or electoral threat to the Tories (or even Labour) - and hence that if you oppose the BNP you must prefer FPTP to AV - always struck me as laughable in the extreme.

And so to this week's Fun Online Poll: if you were in London this week, which of the following would you attend:

Royal Wedding Celebrations
The Islamist demonstration
The English Defence League counter-demonstration
Peter Tatchell's counter-counter-demonstration
Other, please specify
None of the above

None of the above. Really, this is the sort of reason I don't live in London. Apart from being a toilet*, you're constantly disrupted by marches and terrorism.

*yes, the bits around Sloane Sq and the Kings Road are nice, but I can mix up living in a nice cheap area with getting the internet to deliver all my fancy goods.

As now a days every think getting online. Therefore that is very much interested such that pooling is also going to be done through the online system. And we can easily get result from that.
