Political leaders who like(d) to hold meetings in a tent.
1. Arnold Schwarzenegger.
2. Colonel Gaddafi.
And from history: Genghis Khan. Only all his people lived in tents, so I'm not sure if that counts.
Next list: Songs which both Elvis Presley and Bob Dylan performed.

Glad to see you are on a low carbon vacation.
Hang on a mo. You are always on vacation or off sick.
Do you work in the public sector?

" A Fool such as T" and "Tomorrow is another night" or some such Dylan title.Judging by the responses above ,I may be doing a different quiz
I believe that for centuries after conquering Constantinople the Ottoman sultans used to mainly live in tents in the palace garden in imitation of their steppe dwelling ancestors.
RS, indirectly, i suppose I do.
JH, B, NC, ta for input. We can add those to list of historical figures.
DBC: "Fool such as I", well done you've got the first one. A clue: the other one is a Xmas song.
"Oh come all ye faithful"
Here's one for you : any two songs Dylan recorded which are strict-ish tempo waltzes.
DBC, that wasn't the Xmas song I was thinking of. Hmm. As to your question, "Isis" springs to mind. I can't think of another one on the spur.
"First Noel?"
Am cancelling the Dylan Waltz quiz.
Checked on a website and there are loads of them and not just things like "Mr Bojangles" which I was thinking of ,the Jerry Jeff Walker cover.
Alternative Quiz: which Christmas carol can you sing to the tune of "House of the Rising Sun"?
DBC, I'm confused. Is "First Noel" your entry for Bob Dylan/Elvis competition or your entry for Bob Dylan/waltz competition, or both?
To your quiz - I do not have the faintest idea. I don't like Xmas carols as a rule, I like proper Xmas hits like "All I want for Xmas is you" and so on.
Bob Dylan and Elvis both recorded "First Noel" And "Come all ye faithful".
"Oh little Town of Bethlehem" can be sung to the tune of the House of the Rising Sun. (The House of the Rising Sun was the name of Elvis's stable at Gracelands.)
DBC, Bob D did indeed cover both those songs on his most excellent Xmas album (he did the first half of Adeste Fideles in Latin - hardcore!), I wasn't aware that Elvis had done them. Damn.
