Moose On The Loose

Continuing my other occasional series on 'ruminants who fight back', from The Metro:

A rogue moose led police officers on a chase after running wild through the suburbs of Lublin in the east of Poland. The animal was captured later and released back into a forest.

Gripping stuff, eh?

I think you'll find that this is correctly called an elk as it's European.(This pedantry lark is altogether too much like hard work.)

Was the moose anti immigrant perchance ?

D, I was tempted to call it that.

DBC, well spotted. Although the animal appears to be the same, it's just got two different names.

RS, the moose WAS an immigrant (or else it would have been an elk).
