I have absolutely nothing to say about this evening's turgid competition to see who can lie most convincingly, so instead, let's have fifteen seconds' silence for my fellow ginge Ross Langmead, who went out in style.

I am sure someone, somewhere will use this as a reason to call for greater governmental control of the internet.
Okay so I was in school with Ross and his cousin is my best friend and is absolutely shattered by his death. He was like a brother to us and I find your comment about him "going out in style" really offensive. A young, intelligent, loving and funny boy has tragically taken his own life because he felt he couldn't cope anymore. You could approach the subject with a little more sympathy in case people like me, who are personally linked to what you write, find it.
