Stars On Serious Illnesses

The BBC have extended the concept of "Star In A Reasonably Priced Car" (familiar to viewers of Top Gear) with a new rubrik, called Cause Celeb, in which stars chat amiably about their chosen serious illness. This week, Amelle Berrabah from The Sugababes talks about cancer.

Previous episodes include:

Darth Vader star on cancer
Sir Steve Redgrave on diabetes
Danny Wallace on MS
Phil Neville on cerebral palsy
James Landale on lymphoma
Keith Duffy on autism
Jim Broadbent on Alzheimer's
Ulrika Jonsson on incontinence

Which star/illness combination would you like to see on the BBC? Perhaps we can get a petition going or something.

I take it Ulrika's incontinence wasn't the emotional sort..?

Why would anyone want to talk about cancer?

I'd love to see Gordon Brown telling us how he came to terms with unemployment. In fact, there's a series of 646 episodes right there.

I'm not convinced that watching GB moving into well-paid consultancies, being fawned upon and paid vast sums for cock-all work would do wonders for your blood pressure, Obo...

I'd like to see Mike Tyson on erectile dysfunction, and Richard Littlejohn on his sad imminent demise from whatever the most painful and unpleasant medical condition going might be.

Gary Glitter on paedophilia might set a few cats loose in the pigeon cage, also.

Hmmm...

Yasmin Alibhai-Brown on incontinence would be quite appropriate!

As would Madeline Bunting on Tourette's Syndrome.

Dear Santa

I'd like to see The Labour Party with any disease provided it is terminal.

Thanks

Firstly, what is missing is the promise to actually cause them to suffer the chosen affliction, and secondly, I vote for high speed lead poisoning for the lot of them.
