"Dizzy", as ably covered by Vic Reeves And The Wonderstuff. The song is basically the same riff as in "Louie Louie" or "Get off of my cloud" or a hundred other songs, but with loads of gear change. The song kicks off in D, but they change to E half-way through the first riff. They then alternate between E and F for most of the song but the last few choruses are all in G, just for good measure.
NB 1, if you change up a key and then down again, technically it's not a gear change (see for example "La Grange" by ZZ Top or "Joy to the world" by Three Dog Night) but here the overall trend is upwards.
NB 2, Tommy Roe's original version was like this as well, as far as I can make out.

Why do you subject yourself to that sort of garbage?
The Wonderstuff's other reasonably well known song "Size of a Cow", underplays the dangers posed by bovines in my opinion.
Tommy Roe, Tommy Roe - what else did he do? Sheila, Sweet Pea, yep.
D, I'm just trying to alert the younger generation to the dangers of gearchanges. Or something.
R, genius. Does it have a gearchange though?
JH, did he? Did those songs have gearchanges?
On the subject of cows and music, I think this song explains what is behind the recent wave of cattle attacks. (via)
R, he does sum it up very well.
PS, that Youtube link doesn't work for me, so I listened to it at his own site.
