The headline in The Metro says "SS assassin jailed for 1,944 murders" but if you read the article it says he "committed three murders".

The Cowboy Online said...: I don't think it takes a genius, or even a read of the original story, to add 'SS assassin' to '1,944' and realise that's a year, with a superfluous comma, rather than the body count.
