Only four bloody years - and of that only half inside, less for good behaviour no doubt - the bastard should have been given 10 with no remission!

One hears the inmates just love a 'broken' copper - heres hoping he gets well and truly 'shafted'!

Remember the camel attack in the Oz outback a couple of weeks ago? Now they're going to boil us all alive. (but only if they're tame ones) http://www.theaustralian.com.au/news/nation/feral-camels-clear-in-penny-wongs-carbon-count/story-e6frg6nf-1225827641354

"Only four bloody years.."

Patience! He faces other charges, too.

Umm, there's something odd about this case which the press can't report highlighted at the end of this article.

This is very common - telling you that the victim of some-crime-or-other is also awaiting trial for some-other-crime-or-other etc. Anyone care to elaborate? I'm really curious but google won't tell ...

Paul, Dizaei Rascal has been fighting off various charges of corruption, misuse of public funds, abuse of office etc for years (as K and JM suggest), it may be one of those, it may be something completely different.

No I think that's probably it - pending cases against him.

A proper little thug, isn't he? I see his book is not doing all that well.

Funniest thing is reading the review comments on how he's been doing such a wonderful job as a copper.

A £1 million pound (equivalent) pension fund, huh? Very nice indeed of taxpayers to provide such a thing, after his years of highly-paid corruption and self-promotion.

Perhaps that nice Mr Goodwin could make some suggestions?
