Headline at the BBC: Alesha Dixon on growing up with an absent father

Unfortunately, "growing up without an absent father" makes even less sense. Hmm.

Perhaps she grew up with a father that was absent from his own kids.

I think I'll tell my daughter to tell people she grew up without an absent father.

She'll get sympathy from the dummies and she'll amuse the smarts.
