From Sky News:
Wildlife officials are frantically hunting for a wild elephant which they believe is responsible for the deaths of 11 people in Nepal.
An Indian elephant is thought to be responsible for the deaths [well, duh]. The animal has gone on the rampage across three districts in the south of the country for more than two weeks.
One victim, an 18-year-old male, was killed while attempting to worship the animal as the elephant-headed Hindu god Ganesh...

I lolled.
Am I a bad man?
Coulda beena Nafrican elephant, coming over here, stomping our worshippers...
To be honest I expect elephants to be dangerous, so it isn't like cows and deer.
OTC, JM, me too - that's why I had to 'truncate' the quote exactly there.
WOAR, that's not very PC of you, is it? Maybe it was a naturalised elephant or something.
R, the African ones are very nasty (decades of colonial oppression and all that) but the Indian ones are usually quite peaceful.
Had the elephant released its Long Form birth certificate?
Oh, oh! Now the animal shock troops have the beginning of a Navy!
This won't end well...
It's a conspiracy. How are they doing it? Cows in Berks are on the interweb to elephants in Nepal whilst tigers in Bengal use mobiles to co-ordinate with Crocodiles on the Nile. Where will it all end? Just where?
How are they doing it? They make trunk calls to each other, Lola.
I have an article somewhere about why the elephants have gone rogue over the past 30 years and it comes down to successive generations remembering ills done to their families - apparently they do remember and can attack someone connected with someone who mistreated one of them. Not unlike a mafia revenge.
You try and warn people and they just don't listen
This is what the living animals are doing to us now. Just wait until we have to confront the undead animals in the zombie apocalypse!
