Badly chosen metaphor of the day

From The Evening Standard:

Gordon Brown: I will keep alive the flame of Copenhagen

What a colossal and utter twat. Copenhagen was all about extinguishing as many flames as possible, in a very literal sense.

But we need all the flames we can get to keep us warm because of AGW

I too, would welcome some flames. It is -7C outside and I was given to believe it would be tropical.

There was one good thing about Copenhagen actually. The really important leaders shut Brown out of the main discussion and he was made to look like a little kid being told to shut up while the adults were talking. Hilarious.

Flash Gordon?

BW, don't you mean AGC?

CR, I'd be happy with more flames inside for now.

AC, that's not how he remembers it.

MTG, I think the word "flash" is a tad incendiary. Probably illegal now. It'd be hilarious if they ever nick him for exposing himself, though.
