Animal Special Forces: The Great Escape

FormerTory alerts me to this BBC report:

A herd of pigs that escaped on to a motorway in Essex after the lorry carrying them crashed have been rounded up and taken to an abattoir... Both carriageways were closed for about 10 hours while 78 pigs were rounded up and transferred to other lorries. The RSPCA said four seriously injured pigs had to be put down at the scene...

Now if they'd been cows, woud they have got away with it?

WTF were that many MPs doing, in a lorry, in Essex?

Also is this the first case where pigs have rounded up pigs? Sorry I do appreciate the last remark snout funny.

I saw on the News the Great Pig Escape. I can only assume it was a diversionary tactic. Designed to keep our forces of law an order and our attention focused elsewhere whilst Something Else was going on.

I saw those three deer again recently. They'd moved fields to be near another footpath frequented by my neighbours who may not yet aware of the threat. It is worrying.

That, and the Day of the Triffids being on the TV, is a Sign.

I am keeping a wary on eye on these developments I can tell you.
