Multi-ethnic racism

From The Metro:

Four people have been stabbed in a racist attack by a mob armed with metal poles, bricks and sticks.

Police are investigating the attack after a group of Asian students were ambushed near City University is Islington, north London... Officers were also investigating an incident earlier in the day when a gang of white and black youths shouted racist abuse at a group of Asian students.

You mean you consider it impossible for people of African descent to be racist against those of Asian descent?

Asian's can be racist against other Asians, depending on their caste, for goodness sake.

Or do you just consider it impossible that a gang consisting of 'whites' and 'blacks' can't be racist against 'asians?'

Paul, I didn't say that it wasn't racism, did I? What I said was it was 'multi-ethnic racism' (as like as not, anti-Islamic, which is a 'religion', not a race, different topic).

I trust you enjoyed this bit of number crunching.

With the benefit of hindsight, I should have headed this post "Black and white unite and fight!"

What if one multi-ethnic mob attacked another multi-ethnic mob? Is that still racism.

Let's say a group of 4 whites and 4 blacks attacks a group of 2 whites and 2 asians.

Let's say further that in the ensuing bedlam the 4 whites only land blows upon the 2 whites.

Could this still be racist?

Nick, it gets worse. What if your mixed-race perp from example 2 is overcome by remorse and commits suicide? Is that half a racially motivated murder?
