Yes the image of a man who needs to keep his gob shut until after the election...a sentiment not shared by Labour supporters.
Have you seen that Willem Buiter in the FT favours a form of LVT (para 16)?

Anon, the three proper economists at the FT (Martin Wolf, Samuel Brittan and Willem Buiter) are all in favour of LVT in one form or another, but thanks for the tip-of anyway.
