Golly, the first decent argument for voting "yes".
Maybe the Vatican sees the EU interfering with their diktats. You know, like abortion laws, views on contraception and suchlike.
D, they wouldn't be my first choice of allies either, but it's surely better to be right for the wrong reasons than just to be plain wrong?
DPM, yup, the Irish are just cannon fodder in the battle for power between the EU and the Vatican.
Surely that should be canon fodder...
