I've had a look at their website, and they don't seem to be a fake, as the bulk of their money seems to be coming from the Nuffield Foundation (who I'm pretty sure are still 100% non-fake).

JM, they were on Radio 4 this morning and that was my first thought as well. It was a three-way discussion with some bod from some other 'charity' that was probably fake as well but I didn't catch the name.

As OC says, the Nuffield Foundation (who are not fake, despite being PC to the nth degree) paid to set them up, but it remains to be seen what happens next - they nearly all take the King's Shilling in the end.
