From his Times article of today:
Sherlock Holmes once, memorably, said to Dr Watson that when you rule out all the other options whatever is left, however disagreeable, must be the right course of action.
Fail!
What Sherlock Holmes said was:
"... when you have excluded the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth.”

According to his website, not only did Rifkind attend George Watson's and Edinburgh University;
'He, also, appeared on University Challenge'.So not only is he ignorant of the works of arguably Edinburgh's most famous writer, he, also, can't punctuate.
It's his voice I can't stand, goes through me like a warm week-old prawn sandwich.
You can forgive people for getting quotes incorrect when they are talking and thinking on their feet - but to get the quote wrong for an article when it's just a Google away is ridiculous.
For all that, Malcolm is a Good Egg, which is more than you can say for most MPs.
