you said it Mark
I have met this individual and a real piece of work he is too
he tried to pull a lot of UK strings to extricate himself (a load of connections, as you might imagine), all to no avail
Excellent! If only the UK legal system was as effective as Italy's, we could see Jackboot Jacqui behind bars!
What about Mrs Mills?
Dearieme,
One could say the 'rapid distancing act' by Mrs. Mills from Mr. Mills was an example of cheek by jowell!
That's a corker Mr Witterings!
I was going to make a Mrs Mills quip about a fat bird and a piano, but I suppose you're all too young to understand.
WFW, you have brightened up my evening even more :)
What is Youtube for, if not to make it possible to tell old jokes?
Here is Mrs Mills explaining the confusion over the mortgage.
Result!
Now all we need is for the nick to have a ex-spousal visit scheme and we can get together enough of a bribe (it's Italy, so it shouldn't be too bad, even with the state of the £) for the egregious Minister for the f*cking enormous waste of money to be kept in for the rest of the sentence too.
That should take us safely past 2012? I mean, they're hardly going to let either of those two out early for 'good behaviour', are they?
WFW: brill.
TFB: that was the point of my feed line.
SE & others, maybe we rejoice too soon. According to The Times...
Mills said he will appeal against the verdict. He is unlikely to go to prison, even if he loses his appeal, because by the time the process is finished the time allowed for a sentence will have expired under Italy's statute of limitations.
Dear marksany who corrupted Mills ? He was corrupted by Silvio Berlusconi italian prime minister. What a shame......but he can't go to jail because he had Immunity.
Italian legal system it isn't so good.
