A couple of recent posts by James Higham have set me wondering again about this 'rumour' that Obama is supremely unqualified to serve as a US President, as he is not a 'natural-born US citizen'. On the basis that people believe what they want to believe but also my unerring blind faith in the wisdom of crowds, I've set up a Fun Online Poll to decide the matter for once and for all.
Vote here or in the side-bar.
Don't forget, he expects to be inaugurated in twelve days! If we can establish once and for all that he is not a 'natural-born US citizen' before then, maybe he'll do the decent thing and step aside in favour of Joe Biden. And pigs might fly, obviously. And the dishes will wash themselves etc.

Pigs flying and dishes washing themselves would be amongst the most realistic expectations of the people who elected him.
I hope he remembers to bring his magic wand to the White House because those laws of economics won't change themselves.
There's been a bit of a rumpus on a few alternative news sites in the USA, especially regarding the legitimacy of his birth certificate. His granny is said to remember him being born, in Kenya.
I remember a little kid round here seeing a US airman (white). The boy said he couldn't be an American as they were black (he had only ever seen black US servicemen who rented houses in the village). So using his wonderful and very young logic, Obama must be an American coz he is black, innit?
Since biden said, during the war, that he wanted to put the entire population of Serbia into "Nazi style concentration camps" the idea of him taking over does not appeal.
Anyway the time for this is over. I can't think of anything worse for America than a duly elected President being removed the courts on the basis of such a challenge, without even a chance to screw up.
I would have preferred Obama not to win but he did.
It would help me enormously if anyone could explain what "natural-born" means (jokes about Caeserians aside).
