Her Indoors sent me off to hire a car. Rather embarrassingly, they were already closed by the time I got there, so - not wanting to return carless - I walked on to the next car dealer and bought the cheapest one he had.

It's a dark blue family car with air conditioning. And the original radio/cassette player, which will be replaced with CD MP3 iPod thingy at the earliest opportunity.
well if i was buying a "family car" it would be either a ford mondeo or a kuga, depending on my needs motorway versus city/camping/school run.
how much was it? is it new?
